Data controller and contact

This shop is operated under the name MAISON LEROY LLUKES by Noa Toma LLUKES, a sole proprietorship, Chemin des Ecoliers 29, 1963 Vétroz, Switzerland. For any questions about your data or to exercise your rights, write to contact@maisonleroyllukes.com.

Data processed and purposes

When you browse the shop, add an item to your Cart or use the checkout, Shopify processes the information needed to provide these services: Cart contents, technical information about your device and browser, IP address, preferences and information about your interactions with the shop.

When you place an order, the contact details you provide, delivery and billing addresses, items, amounts and transaction information are used to manage the order, its payment, notifications and requests for returns or exchanges. Payment information is processed through the secure checkout provided by Shopify and your chosen payment method.

If you choose to use a Shopify customer account, the information needed to sign in and access your orders is processed for this purpose. Creating an account remains optional when placing an order.

If you contact us by email, we process your address and the information you choose to share in order to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information unrelated to your enquiry.

Newsletter and consent

The newsletter form collects your email address and your choice to receive news from the Maison. Email confirmation may be requested to complete your subscription. You can withdraw this choice at any time using the unsubscribe link in the messages.

Newsletter consent is separate from your cookie preferences. Notifications needed to follow an order do not constitute a newsletter subscription.

Shopify and enhanced services

The shop, Cart, checkout, customer accounts and newsletter form are provided by Shopify. Shopify receives and processes the data needed for these features.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled. Shopify may use information from your interactions with this shop, other merchants and Shopify for its enhanced services, including product improvement, personalisation and advertising targeting. In this context, Shopify is responsible for its own processing. Other merchants do not have access to this shop’s data.

Read Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and visit the Shopify privacy portal to learn about this processing and exercise your rights with Shopify.

Cookies and privacy choices

Necessary cookies enable the shop and Cart to function. Optional uses depend on the active services and the choices expressed in the Shopify banner. You can read the cookie policy and reopen your preferences from the footer. Refusing optional uses does not prevent you from viewing products or placing an order.

Recipients and transfers

Shop information is accessible to its operator and to Shopify for the services described above. Data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence as part of Shopify’s infrastructure and services. Shopify’s policy explains its arrangements and safeguards for international transfers.

Retention

Data retention depends on its purpose, the management of orders or enquiries, and applicable obligations. For details about a category of data or to request its deletion, contact us at the address above. Data processed directly by Shopify is also subject to its own retention rules.

Your rights

Depending on the rules applicable to your situation, you may request access to, rectification, erasure or portability of your data, object to certain processing or request its restriction. You may withdraw consent for the future. Verification of your identity may be necessary to process your request.

You may also contact the competent data protection authority, including the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner in Switzerland, or the authority in your country of residence.

Updates

This policy may change as the shop’s features and processing activities develop. The update date appears at the top of the page.
